Sabita Karki ends as first runner-up at India’s Next Top Model season 3
Two month long reality based television show on model, their style, attitude, performance, personality and other modeling attributes; India’s Next Top Model has finally ended on 16th of December 2017. The finale episode declared Riya Subodh, the girl hailing from Ahmedabad as the winner of the third season of the competition.
Among the top finalists Sabita Karki from Kathmandu emerged as first runner-up while Shweta Raj from Pune completed the competition as second runner-up.
23 years of Sabita Karki, is a Kathmandu based model. Five feet eight inches tall and slim figured Sabita has walked for several shows in Kathmandu. Her runway career includes some big runway shows including TGIF Nepal fashion week, Timeless Paragon Jewelry fashion show by Classic Diamond Jewelry. The exotic beauty Sabita has also graced several top listed magazines as well. WOW, ECS Living, Insignia, M & S Vmag are some of them.
With the theme of ‘Fashion gets tough’, this season of India’s Next Top Model saw various modeling based tasks, theme based photo shoots and challenge tasks as the major ingredients to draw the winner from the competition. Prior to the final combat of style factor, the show’s top 3 finalists Riya, Sabita and Shweta got an opportunity to shoot for Oppo 2018 Calendar.
After the photoshoot, Actress Anusha Dandekar and grooming expert Neeraj Gaba who were playing their part as the mentors of the show, surprised the finalists by getting their family members and friends. The season’s last photo shoot was a family portrait. As Sabita’s parents couldn’t make it, Gaba and Anusha stepped in and posed with her as her family. The season’s finale also saw Singer Monica Dogra performing live.
The modeling based TV reality show been premiered on 21st October 2017 on MTV India channel. This season saw actress-model Malaika Arora as the host and head judge while actor Milind Soman and ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani were other members on the judging panel.
